Taper's Notes : Decided to try my new mics, once again outdoors. Been reading a lot about people who tape dead center in front of the stage and so on, and I decided to give it a try... Well... in my opinion the sound is off at times and you have to stand in the same spot the whole time if you do this. Might tape next week (on saturday) and will go back to stack-taping then. Also it's audible when I snap my photos, since I have my arms up, and it disturbs the sound quite a bit, since I use cardioids now. Might have to reduce the photoing to 1 song only to avoid disturbing noises...
The sound at this show varied a lot! On the faster songs, you hardly heard all instruments, but on the slower tunes it sounds good. Also the sound dropped up and down in some songs... why? Nicely mixed setlist though, and my first time hearing songs like "Purple Heart" and "Panzerkampf" live. Thanks guys! Nice place to have a rockconcert! Weird mix with H.E.A.T, Wolf and Sabaton though... most people came for the latter.
