Taper's Notes:

Geoff decided to do something a little special for the 30th anniversary of "Empire".
Instead of just playing the record front to back, he decided to start things off with his personal favorite Queensrÿche record, "Rage For Order" (1986). This was my first time seeing Geoff (I've never seen Queensrÿche, either) and he was spectacular in every facet. For a guy who is 61 years old, I dont know how he does it for over 2 hours the way he did. Purely incredible. This show is a perfect example of why I tape shows.
I grabbed the wrong mics when I left my home (meant to grab the cards), but the omnis still did a great job at capturing the performance. I spent a little bit more time in post removing some claps and whistles between songs. Thankfully, during the show everyone around me shut up. Also note: there was a 15 minute intermission between sets.
I cross faded the audience at this point for a seamless listen. Turn this one up!
