Taper's notes:

Great show before a pretty much sold out club. I don't really care for the acoustics, nor the tight seating at Dodge Theatre, but despite that it's still a good place to see a show.

No Whitesnake at this show. Coverdale had to cancel because of throat problems.

Pop Evil opened. I've never heard of them. Didn't recognize any of their songs....I thought they were simply "ok".

Judas Priest was amazing. To hear 'British Steel' in its entirety was an experience I will never forget. The band still sounds about as good as they did in 1980. True Metal Gods, IMO.
Besides the 'BS' songs, Victim of Changes was my favorite of the night. For me, they really shined on that one. The Ripper was kick ass as well. If you have a chance, don't miss this tour!

As for my recording, I thought it turned out decent. I would give it an 8.5 out of 10. All settings on my recorder were maxed out to highest quality possible. Show was taped on a Sony brand 1GB Hi-MD disc.
Unfortunately though, besides the sub-par venue acoustics, I had a couple of drunks around me....and you will hear the occasional drunken screams, chatter, sing-a-longs, and other obscenities that goes along with all that.
But, overall...I think most fans of METAL will enjoy this one many times over. I know I will. :)
