Another memorable night in my life as a concert-goer. Maiden tend to do that to you. ;-)
Made the mistake of relying on a buddy of mine to get tickets for the Montreal show, which he failed to do, so I called a friend in T.O. who managed to get pretty good seats there. I ended up doing a little road trip which is always fun. Haven't been to the ACC in awhile and I gotta say I was not impressed with the sound. Every other time I've seen Maiden the sound's been much clearer and crisp. It got better after the first few songs and it was quite listenable, as you can hear from the recording. The energy from the band was great as always. Crowd was very good too. You can hear the usual "singers", as expected at every Maiden or Alice In Chains show, singing along to choruses and favourite melodic sections. All part of the fun atmosphere. Hope you enjoy listening to this recording as much as we enjoyed seeing the live show.
