Taper's notes : I fully expected this show to be cancelled. We were kept outside queueing in torrential rain, thunder and lightning for well over 2 hours after the doors were supposed to have opened.
There was no information from the organisers and many people left the queue as they were completely soaked and it did not look like the gig would be going ahead.
The venue had a roof leak and was flooded in places. I am fully aware you cannot control the weather but the response from the venue was deplorable with a lot of very unhappy customers.
Doors were expected to open at 7pm and they finally opened at about 9.15pm. Tailgunner were the support band and Accept took to the stage around 10.15pm with smoke, flames, streamers and even an inflatable shark!
