Taper's Notes : I've wanted Manowar to play in my hometown Gothenburg, Sweden for 8-9 years now, and all of a sudden they come over for TWO shows! (There was supposed to be 3, but the last one got cancelled so the guys could travel to Portugal in time for a booked show. Good thing not to have to pay for three shows in a row with those ticketprices!
I can understand if we would have gotten the possibility to listen to their new soundsystem from D.A.S, but at these shows they only used the arenas PA-system. That sucks... Anyway - the first night (uploaded by Kryddan) was good, but they had some soundproblems during the whole show, they lowered the sound and raised it again during many of the songs, and the instruments didn't match in volume etc etc. On this second show they had fixed all that, and the sound was loud and clear! ;o) I recorded this with my omni CA14, and I think it sounds great! I recorded the first show too, but with the cardioid CA14, and although it sounds great, we'll settle with Kryddans version!
