Note of the taper :
Security was tight at the Resch Center.  They had the metal detector wands out, scanning everyone that came through.  I was nervous as hell coming in with my mini-disc recorder and Nikon camera...I thought for sure one of those things would get detected, but luckily, they did not.  As luck would have it, my seat was right on the aisle next to one of the entrances where security was standing.  The security guard caught me using my camera and told me I couldn't take pictures - only with a phone.  Really?  With modern phone technology nowadays, they really are concerned about a pocket camera over a cell phone?  Ok, so I had to really make sure my MD and mic were well hidden, so I clipped it to the side of my jacket pocket.  Unfortunately, the disc ran out of space before the show was over so I missed the last couple of songs.  I did have an extra disc along, but with hawk-eye watching I didn't want to risk them seeing me change it and take it away.  I'll never go back to the Resch Center for a concert again - security there are a bunch of nazis.

Anyway, as far as the show goes, great show by the Crue as usual.  However, I was very disappointed with the huge fail on Tommy's drum solo.  His set got stuck right at the begining about 10 feet up on the Cruecify, so he played for about 4 minutes and then turned it over to Mick.  This recording is not the best - I'd probably rate it about a B-/C+, but it's still very listenable.  Enjoy!
